Share the relevant pages, leave the rest out
Extracting pages creates a separate document from a selection inside a larger PDF. It’s useful for pulling out a chapter, keeping a signed page, or sharing just the information someone needs to read.
Enter a selection and choose how to save it
Use individual page numbers, ranges, or a combination of both. For example, 1, 3-5 selects four pages: the first page and pages three, four, and five. The numbers refer to their position in the PDF, including any cover pages.
Choose One PDF to collect the selection in a single document. Choose Separate PDFs when you want a document for each selected page. Use a descriptive output name so the extracted copy is easy to distinguish from the original.
Common questions
Does extracting delete pages from the original?
Extraction creates a separate copy of the selected pages. Removing pages from a document is a different task, available in the Organise PDF workflow.
Can I select pages that aren’t next to each other?
Yes. Separate the page numbers with commas, such as 2, 5, 8. You can combine single pages and ranges in the same selection.
Why might the page number differ from the printed label?
A PDF can include a cover, contents pages, or other material before its numbered content. Select by the page’s position in the file, starting at 1, rather than the number printed on the page.
